  2. DN2: This visa is generally given to foreign individuals who are coming to Vietnam with the intention of offering services and/or establishing commercial organisations in Vietnam. This visa is also given to those individuals who will be serving the international treaties in which Vietnam has taken a part. 

Generally, the Vietnam tourist visa does not allow the individual to do any form of business or trade in Vietnam. However, the individuals with the Vietnam business visa can go for a trip in Vietnam during their free time. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, a business visa was granted for up to one year. However, after that, a business visa is only granted for up to 3 months. Speaking of visas, the business E-Visa for Vietnam is only valid for one month. 

What Are the Requirements for Obtaining A Vietnam Business Visa?

There are several countries that are exempted from holding a visa for Vietnam. If you do not belong to any of those countries, then you will be required to obtain a visa for Vietnam for establishing or enlarging a business or organisation. The requirements for obtaining a Vietnam business visa are as follows: 

  • You must make sure that you are allowed to enter the country under all circumstances and there is no prohibition whatsoever. 
  • You must have an organisation or firm in Vietnam in which you will be working. This can be your own organisation or a sponsor company. This organisation must be ready to sponsor your visa and other travelling requirements. 
  • Your passport should not expire anytime in the six months from the day of your entry in Vietnam. 
  • Prepare your portrait photographs and passport pages for attaching to the application form of Vietnam business visa.

How To Obtain the Vietnam Business Visa (E-Visa)?

Currently, nationals of eighty countries are granted the Vietnam E-Visa for tourism, business and many more purposes. The business E-Visa has a validity of thirty days in total. It can only be used for a single entry. The e-visa is not extendable. There are two ways to apply for the E-Visa which are as follows:
